And then there's the plot. I mentioned The Hangover and it's kind of like that and it wasn't even well done. It was just juvenile and so not funny.

The worst part of the book? That forced me to round it down to 3 stars from 3.5? A character call Pruitt, who sounds like an STI! This is at 61%the story was really trope heavy and by the end had failed to do anything unique with them,,,it felt quite generic in a low budget rom com type of way (i.e. not unenjoyable but i felt zero *feelings*) The groomsmen, in their Armani and Brioni, were overgrown frat boys destined to spend their lives reliving their prep school glory days. Their trust funds were cushy enough to buy their way out of any real trouble. The Worst Best Man is the first book I’ve read by Mia Sosa, and I will definitely be reading more in the future!!

THIS was just the funny steamy romcom read I was craving. I have no doubt that the current state of the world & social distancing is skewing my rating upwards but tbh I really don't care...I needed a laugh and some feelgood feelz & this came through for me in spades 🤣🤩😂😍🔥 He meets with Solange to convince her for fake dating for a few work meetings to guarantee his partnership. Of course Solange accepts his offer to make it up for him. She still feels bad for ruining her wedding. Now moving on, I loved Frankie, and her brothers! This woman was a no nonsense superwoman. We need more woman like this and I know she isn't everyone's kind of woman. The 2nd half of the book is where it got good for me. Sometimes a book will have a strong beginning and a saggy middle. In this case, the middle and end were the best parts. I loved to read about how in love Aiden is with Frankie. This year I have been trying to read more new to me authors and it's really paid off. I've found a lot of new favorites and a lot of fun books. The Worst Best Man was my first book by Lucy Score and it was a lot of fun. I loved listening to the audio book.
