But I loved these books. Perhaps it's the historical elements, vintage photography (in the series, not this book) and peculiarity. The Tales are about animals, peculiars and many other things, and it is mostly for fun, although if it does have some real purpose it is yet to be released by the author, Ransom Riggs.
