About this deal
The three metre long cord also helped make styling an easier experience, as I can’t bear too-short styling cords that mean you can’t move from one spot. So, is it worth it?
We all want to create that salon-quality blow-dry, but finding the right temperature setting or technique for creating it can be difficult. Your hair is unique, so what works for someone else might not work for you. That’s why the PROluxe You Adaptive Hairdryer features I like the glamorous aesthetic, as you truly feel like you’re bringing the salon into your home, with its variety of concentrators, glossy ceramic coating and LCD display. The Microprocessor stores the temperature adjustments, becoming smarter every time you style and predicting adjustments ahead of time.

The PROluxe You Adaptive Straightener has 2 StyleAdapt user profiles to store two sets of unique user data. Both users can individually store their personalised heat setting - perfect for if you share your straighteners with someone else. This is not necessarily a performance metric, but a big plus for anxious types like me is that these stylers automatically turn off after 60 minutes of not being used for extra peace of mind. What’s not so good about them?Remington hair straighteners come with ultra-thin plates that are a brilliant option for achieving straight hair and soft curls. And have a look at our BaByliss hair straighteners too. Or, for frizzy hair, our range of wide plate straighteners is ideal for helping you achieve a glossy shine with a natural healthy look.
I sprayed some heat protection spray, loaded up Beyoncé’s greatest hits and set the curler at 180°, which I felt was an accurate temperature for my hair type. This is hotter than I would usually go (for reference, my GHD Platinum+ hair straightener is set at 185°C) and I haven’t yet tested for long enough to see how this would impact the health of my hair. It is a catch-22 situation, as I would need to pass over each section of hair multiple times using these straighteners at lower temperatures, compared to just one pass at a higher heat setting. For these reasons, I’d be likely to switch between adaptive and manual modes. Remington Proluxe You Adaptive Straightener review: My verdictI’m a self-proclaimed beauty obsessive, so when I heard industry buzz regarding renowned hair care brand Remington’s latest launch, I knew I had to try it. You can also choose how powerful you want the heat distribution, shown by the LED lines around the side of the LCD display.
