About this deal
I’ve raved over this series for a while now. This is one of those series that I didn’t really care for early on but it grew on me. The character development and the world building in this series is amazing. I especially love the twists you never see coming.
The betrayers. The murderers. The ones who nearly destroyed Orea, and wiped out Seventh Kingdom in the process. He has power sizzling beneath this skin and glinting spikes down his spine. But his eyes—his eyes are the most compelling of all. star equals a bad book. I barely finished this book and I will never recommend anyone waste valuable book reading time on this book.Book 3 of this adult fantasy series continues in this epic story inspired by the myth of King Midas, fae, fated romance, and insurmountable greed. My initial reaction to this book was how it’s mostly filler. However, all of that is what makes the last quarter of this book hit so hard. It sets us up for an ending that will leave you screaming. Raven Kennedy made this hurt so good and now I have to wait a year before I can read the next book in the series. I want to be so strong that I never have to fear anyone else in this world. That if I need to, I can make them all fear me.”
Gold floors, gold walls, gold furniture, gold clothes. In Highbell, in the castle built into the frozen mountains, everything is made of gold. Now I’m here, a prisoner of Fourth Kingdom’s army, and I’m not sure if I’m going to make it out of this in one piece. They’re marching to battle, and I’m the bargaining chip that will either douse the fire or spark a war. The Booktok hit: The Plated Prisoner Series continues in book 4. This dark adult fantasy romance is inspired by the myth of King Midas and the gold-touched woman who realizes her true worth.
