I've just spent about six hours trying to work out why (when recording with Reaper) the mix in my headphones was in Mono ...I've installed new ASIO drivers, gone through every setting in Windows 7 and Reaper ...you name it, I've done it! But you really do need to use a high-quality amplifier or audio interface to get the most out of these headphones. For decades our PRO headphones have been the reference for professional sound in recording studios all over the world. That leaves only one question: Which headphones are the right ones for you? I still don't know what or why - but after an hilarious amount of pain, it turned out to be the adaptor ...Oh, and my meter is now reading 88.8 ohms for each driver (in case you care)

My amp should be delivered tomorrow, and I will give it a try and see if this resolves its self. Could this be the cause? From what I've read around here and other places, this shouldn't cause any damage either.
