While many Apple Watch wearers use them for swimming, it is not recommended as the woven nylon isn't water resistant. Wash with a damp microfiber cloth, using a mild detergent if necessary. Then rinse and dry as best you can, using a fresh microfiber cloth.Knit: Clean the band with a nonabrasive soft cloth. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water and gently rub the band to get rid of stains. Hermès knit is not swimproof, so you should avoid getting it wet.

Wipe the leather portions of the bands clean with a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water*. Don’t soak leather bands in water. The leather bands aren't water resistant. Cleaning these bands is quite easy. Get a clean nonabrasive cloth since you don't want scratches on your Apple watch bands.
