At first glance (or sniff) Contradiction appears to be just delicate, tidy and pretty. A pretty Girl Next Door in my opinion. When I put this on, I envision all those nice things pretty, good girls might wear: small pastel-coloured sweaters, starched shirts, ditsy hair accessories, knee length pencil skirts... and I am thinking "I should wear those, as I have always liked it", but somehow it seldom happens. He is one of the most influential people in the fashion design industry up to now. He also changed the way advertising was conducted when he asked Richard Avedon to photograph a very young Brooke Shields for his 1979 jeans campaign. This ad ran with the now famous slogan, You know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.

Though I barely like or could wear any Calvin Klein creation (tested till now), I have deep respect for each and every one, and find them unique, modern and perfect. We're proud to announce that our mailing bags are made from recycled polythene and are also recyclable, and our bubble wrap is made from recycled plastic and is completely recyclable.I'm wearing Adventure today, and when I smell NEAR the hand on whih I've tried Contradiction, I can smell the Adventure over it. I have to have my nose quite close to me hand to smell it. The bottle exudes the woody overtones and sensual nature of the perfume. It has elegant curves and dark colors throughout. The citric-floral-spicy nature of Contradiction is perfect for professional wear, though the projection and longevity IN the projection is weak and will not grab any attention.

I get the reference to clean linen, it is a very clean, crisp fragrance. It's light and fresh, the opening is dominated by a bright lime note, what follows is a very soothing soapy lavender, the Vetiver is there but it's subtle. I am wearing this scent today for the second time and I have to say I am liking it. Firstlly I don't like to stamp the brands. Each perfume should be reviewed without looking at the brand.Initially I thought it is too synthetic but I was wrong the depth of this scent is excellent. I am giving full marks to longevity. The initial lavender and citruses are good,middle spices are great and base of vetiver,sandalwood and musk are brilliant. I love this stuff..it's a real complex woody floral to my nose. It smells like it's got a very light wood in it like blondewood or something that gives it a slight dry tone. But the florals are brilliant. I smell a different combination everytime I put my nose to my wrist. It's like thye're all vying for attention saying..."Smell me....NO....Smell meee" haha.My favourite aspect, is the bottle, it's one of my favourite ever designs, it's masculine, substantial and unique, it's a great bottle to handle. there is nothing special about this scent, I can't distinguish any features of this scent exept for a citrusy freshness in the open. not even a lemon citrus, or lime, or orange, just something really unspecifically BAD. this is by far the most mediocre scent I have ever tried and regret to own, somehow for a light smelling citrusy scent it hits a sharp spot that I just hate, likely the pepper.
